Paddling on the Jupiter Intracoastal Waterway

The Intracoastal Waterway can be a great paddle adventure, especially during weekday mornings when boat traffic is lighter.

Although it is a no-wake zone near our location, boat activity increases on weekends and in the afternoons. For that reason, we typically recommend using the Intracoastal to cross over to nearby islands rather than paddling long distances along it.

Our protected horseshoe-shaped launch area gives paddlers a safer, calmer starting point before deciding to explore beyond it.

Paddleboarding in Jupiter Florida by the Iconic Lighthouse, blue water, no wake zone, intracoastal water way.

Paddle at Coral Cove & Jupiter Lighthouse

(Offsite Paddleboard Rentals Only - We Do Not Deliver)

Everyone loves paddling in clear blue water, especially during high tide or an incoming tide. The paddle between Coral Cove and the Jupiter Lighthouse can be an incredible experience with sandbars and shallow turquoise water.

However, we do not allow renters to paddle from our dock to the lighthouse or Coral Cove. The inlet has strong tidal movement and heavy boat traffic that can create challenging conditions.

For experienced paddlers, we offer offsite paddleboard rentals so you can transport boards by vehicle, we do NOT deliver, and launch safely closer to the area. With the expanded no-wake zone near the lighthouse, paddling from Coral Cove to the lighthouse and back is a beautiful and rewarding route when conditions are right.
