The Futures AM1 Techflex 5-Fin is Al Merrick's Channel Islands template in a medium thruster-or-quad set for surfers 125-175 lbs.
A wide base and refined tip balance release and drive, and the quad rears are modeled on the Bobby Quad rear for more maneuverability without giving up drive through turns. Futures pitches the AM1 for open faces and point-break style waves, the kind of longer walls a good swell can bring to Palm Beach County.
